This site is an attempt to give something back to the motorcycling community. Several riders were more than happy to share information about good roads when I was returning to motorcycling a few years ago. Now that I've racked up tens of thousands of miles exploring regional roads, I wanted to share that information with others in a more accessible form than word of mouth.

This site is the work of myself (Garry Simmons) with web design help from Chuck Kozora. Chuck also put together the the very handy interactive map.

The road ratings and descriptions are obviously subjective and reflect my opinion. Your opinion may vary, but at least the ratings will be consistent relative to each other. Hopefully you will find them useful. The majority of the roads are two-lane state highways that anyone can find on a decent map. County and locals roads are generally avoided to leave a sense of adventure for riders that want to explore off the beaten path.

YOU can help make this site better by sending me email at garry@motoroads.net if there are new roads that should be added or if a road description no longer reflects reality (for better or worse).
